Geraldine Teo

Principal Trainer & Consultant, RCTC

Geraldine is a Principal Trainer and Consultant with Rainbow Centre Training and Consultancy and holds a degree in Business Management, a specialist diploma in Early Childhood Education as well as a Masters in Science in Early Childhood Education. Geraldine brings her 13 years of experience in early childhood teaching, centre management  and specialization in the development of curriculum for young children – birth to three years - into the training and mentoring of teachers in The Early Intervention Programme (EIP) for Infants and Children.


Prior to joining Rainbow Centre, Geraldine was an Education Development Specialist with National Trade Union Congress (NTUC) First Campus’ The Little Skool-House International. Geraldine trained teachers and mentored centre leaders in the areas of parent and community partnership and specifically the positive impact these partnerships have to children’s development. She is also a certified Hanen Trainer for Learning Language and Loving It, an approach that uses practical strategies to help all children, including those with special needs build language and social skills. An ACTA certified trainer, Geraldine is also an approved trainer by Singapore Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA)

Faridah Ali Chang

Principal Trainer & Consultant, RCTC
Registered Psychologist (Singapore)

With more than 20 years of experience in Special Needs, Faridah is the principal trainer and consultant for RCTC. She shares her experience as a teacher and a psychologist in the Early Intervention and Special Education with educator, parent and professional trainees. She is also an experienced speaker on specific disability topics and regularly presents to the public, medical organisations and tertiary institutions in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region.

 

Faridah is trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach for children with Dyslexia, the Treatment and Education of Autistic and Related Communication handicapped Children (TEACCH, Level 1), and a certified ADI-R and MBTI practitioner. She completed her graduate research on the Quality of Life of Adults with Multiple Disabilities and their Parents, and she holds a Master of Arts (by Research) from the National Institute of Education.

Linda Prebhash

Principal Trainer & Consultant, RCTC

Linda has been in the special education sector since 1988 and her experience in various capacities enables her to provide a holistic perspective in conferences at Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region. She is trained in the Treatment and Education of Autistic and other Related Communication handicapped Children (TEACCH).

 

Linda serves as a volunteer on the Board of Special Olympics (Singapore) and has been actively involved over the last 22 years. She believes that through sports, persons with special needs learn life skills beyond the achievement of athletic abilities.

Binu N. Ravindran

Associate Trainer, RCTC

Principal Speech Language Therapist, RC Yishun Park School

Binu leverages on his 15 years of intervention experience for children with special needs in speech, language and communication to conduct specialised training programme for parents, teachers and therapists in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region. Binu has special interest in the area of Oral Placement Therapy for children having feeding difficulties of varying degrees. He has been using the concepts of Oral Placement Therapy in children with Special Needs of varied diagnosis for the last 7 years. Also, he has extensive knowledge of using the various tools that are used in Oral Placement Therapy. He has also used Oral Placement Therapy to work with children having a diagnosis of Childhood Apraxia of Speech.
