Early Intervention
Approach
We focus on early intervention within a child’s daily routines, natural environment and adopt a transdisciplinary team approach involving early interventionists, therapists, psychologists and social workers who empower each family in supporting their child’s development.
Programme
We provide three distinct services for children from birth to six years old
Early Intervention @ Home
Birth – 24 Months Old
Serving infants from birth to 24 months old, as well as other children who may have a medical condition, hence preventing them from receiving centre-based services, EI@Home focuses on caregiver education and training, building support networks and intervention at home.
Early Intervention @ Centre
19 Months – 6 Years Old
Serving children from 19 months to 6 years old, the programme focuses on social relationship skills, school readiness and building independence so they are able to participate and learn.
Early Intervention @ Preschool
5 – 6 Years Old
Serving children from 4 to 6 years old, the programme focuses on social integration with peers in a preschool setting and coaching of early childhood educators.
