Rainbow Centre Scholarships
The Rainbow Centre (RC) Scholarship is open to outstanding individuals who are passionate to work with children and youths with disabilities as an allied professional.

01 – Qualifying Courses of Study
The RC Scholarship currently supports full-time undergraduate or postgraduate studies from local and overseas universities recognised by professional accreditation bodies such as Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) in the following area:

02 – Eligibility
The programme supports both full-term and mid-term applications. To be eligible, you must:
- Be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Have a strong passion to work with children and youths with disabilities
- Have achieved outstanding academic results and a good track record of service to the community
- Not be a recipient of any scholarship with a bond obligation
- For the full-term award: You must have received an offer for a degree programme that is recognised by respective professional accreditation bodies.
- For the mid-term award: You must have completed at least one academic semester of studies, and have at least one academic year of study remaining at the point of application, in a programme that is recognised by respective professional accreditation bodies.
03 – Application
The RC Scholarship is now open for application. We regret that only short-listed candidates will be notified.
Prepare the following supporting documents:
- CV
- All educational / professional certificates and transcripts
- CCA records / reports
- Letter of Offer from the university
- Course brochure/outline
- Information on course fee and related incidental fees

04 – Commitment
You will have to serve a bond with Rainbow Centre after completion of your studies.

05 – Coverage
The Scholarship covers tuition fees (less government subsidies) and any other compulsory fees required to complete the course of study. A monthly living allowance as well as book allowance will be granted to successful recipients.

Social Service Tribe Study Award
Offered by Rainbow Centre, the Social Service Tribe Study Award provides students from qualifying courses of study with the opportunity to pursue a meaningful career in social service.

The Social Service Tribe Study Award supports both full-term and mid-term applications. To be eligible, you must:
- Be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident who is willing to take up Singapore Citizenship
- Have a strong passion to work with children and youths with disabilities
- Have achieved outstanding academic results and a good track record of service to the community
- Currently not be a full-time employee at any organisation, including Rainbow Centre
- Currently not be receiving any scholarships or sponsorships
- For the full-term award: You must have received an offer for a degree programme that is recognised by respective professional accreditation bodies.
- For the mid-term award: You must have completed at least one academic semester of studies, and have at least one academic year of study remaining at the point of application, in a programme that is recognised by respective professional accreditation bodies. You must apply by the first semester of your final academic year.

04 – Commitment
You will have to serve a bond with Rainbow Centre after completion of your studies. The bond duration depends on the type of the study award:

The Social Service Tribe Study Award includes a cash award. The quantum of the award depends on course type and award type.

Career Conversion Programmes (AHP, SW, ST)
The Career Conversion Programmes support mid-career individuals in acquiring relevant training for roles in the social service sector. It is jointly offered by Rainbow Centre, Workforce Singapore (WSG), and the National Council of Social Services (NCSS), in partnership with local Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs).

- Be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
- 21 years old and above
- Graduated from full-time studies or completed National Service for at least two years, whichever is most recent – undergraduates / fresh graduates, NSFs and NSMen who just completed NS (excluding Regulars), are not eligible.
- Not currently a student in a relevant course, or performing a relevant job role to the CCP applied for
- Have a strong passion to work with children and youths with disabilities
