When concrete meets jungle, you get Quiana’s elephant playground! Locally designed playground structures inspired by creatures like the dragon and pelican were a common sight in the 1970s and 1980s. Many of these concrete structures have been replaced by steel and plastic playgrounds, but their retro motifs are uniquely Singaporean and a charming symbol of joyful childhood memories.
