Rainbow Centre Scholarships
The Rainbow Centre (RC) Scholarship is open to outstanding individuals who are passionate to work with children and youths with disabilities as an allied professional.

We have two application windows in a year in March and September.

01 – Qualifying Courses of Study
The RC Scholarship supports full-time undergraduate or postgraduate studies from local and overseas universities recognised by professional accreditation bodies such as Singapore Association of Social Workers (SASW), Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) and Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) in the following areas:

02 – Eligibility
The programme supports both full-term and mid-term applications. To be eligible, you must:
- Be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Have a strong passion to work with children and youths with disabilities
- Have achieved outstanding academic results and a good track record of service to the community
- Not be a recipient of any scholarship with a bond obligation
- For the full-term award: You must have received an offer for a degree programme that is recognised by respective professional accreditation bodies.
- For the mid-term award: You must have completed at least one academic semester of studies, and have at least one academic year of study remaining at the point of application, in a programme that is recognised by respective professional accreditation bodies.
03 – Application
Application window is now closed and will reopen in September 2025.
04 – Commitment
You will have to serve a bond with Rainbow Centre after completion of your studies. The bond duration depends on the total value of the award

¹ For undergraduate studies, “full-term” refers to candidates with >2 academic years of study left, while “mid-term” refers to candidates with 2 academic years of study or less left.
² For postgraduate studies, “full-term” refers to candidates with >1 academic years of study left, while “mid-term” refers to candidates with 1 academic year of study or less left.
05 – Coverage
The Scholarship covers tuition fees (less government subsidies) and any other compulsory fees required to complete the course of study. A monthly living allowance as well as book allowance will be granted to successful recipients.
